The "Easter Cross" at Christus Victor

Worship at Christus Victor is liturgical - after all we are Lutheran! Services at Christus Victor could be best described as "blended", meaning some old music with tradition liturgies with contemporary music. We celebrate the Sacrament of Communion at each service.

Our worship centers on Word and Sacrament accented by an excellent organist and adult choir along with occasional participation by our Sunday School or Youth Group in the form of a pageant or children's choir. Our preaching is Bible centered and applies to everyday life and each service includes a "Kids Talk" by the Pastor, a short sermon on the steps of the altar geared towards the younger parishioners.

Our service times falls under a Summer and Winter schedule to accommodate our memberships diverse scheduling needs:

Summer Schedule - Usually starts around mid June and goes until early September and consists of an abbreviated service at 8:30am and a full service at 10:00am.

Winter Schedule - An abbreviated service at 8:30am and a full service at 11:00am.

** Parents ** adult supervised nursery care is available for infants and other children (ages 6 & under) during both services. The nursery is located on the opposite side of the Narthex. Please ask the usher if you need assistance.
